Renowned for its high-quality products and customer
care, Saint-Arneault keeps pace with market changes and customer
preferences.
Healthy food is a top priority at Saint-Arneault, a family-owned
business located in Saint-Hubert. Our products contain no trans
fats, no cholesterol, and no preservatives.
History
The company was established in 1973 in Montreal by Michel
Saint-Arneault. Today, it is a family-owned business run
by the founder's three sons as well as his brother and nephew. At
first, the company specialized in pre-peeled products such as potatoes,
carrots, and onions. As of 1989, we have focused on our premier
product: potatoes.
Qualifresh, our flagship brand, was launched in 1989. Our fresh,
pre-cooked fries became a very popular item, making us a key player
in our market.
In 1994, in order to serve export markets, we added frozen French
fries to our product line. As of 1999, the export market became
profitable and continued to experience healthy growth. Saint-Arneault
frozen fries are sold not only in Quebec, Ontario, and the U.S.,
but in South and Central America and in the Caribbean.
Since 1999, Saint-Arneault has been investing massively in processing
technologies for potato products and in Research & Development.
Attentive to customer concerns, Saint-Arneault is committed to
producing and marketing healthy foods. We use high-quality ingredients,
and our food products contain no trans fats, cholesterol or preservatives.
We use two varieties of potatoes in our products, Russet Burbank
and Chieftan, grown mainly in Quebec (with a small proportion grown
in New-Brunswick). To ensure customer satisfaction, we are committed
to providing products that address their needs and preferences.
Our food products respect the specifications regarding the cut,
the packaging, and other standards required by the restaurant industry,
chains, and private labels.
Saint-Arneault potatoes are synonymous with
good and healthy food. We are committed to growth and to sustaining
our high standards in terms of quality and taste.
